Net Wt. 3g
What it says: “Contains pure sesame oil, sweet almond oil along with extracts of Eclipta Alba, Indian Gooseberry and Berberis Aristata. Made in traditional Ayurvedic method, Bio Kaajal nourishes the eye area, improves vision and lends a sparcle to the eyes. Also helps promote growth of eyelashes.

Ayurvedic Medicine (for External Use only)”
Review: Kaajal or kohl is actually eyeliner for inner rim of the eye but much softer than common makeup eyepencils of kohls. They feel cool and are easy to apply but smudge also easily. The difference between these two products is that Shahnaz Husain kohl is more intense in color (darker) and its package is nicer, but price is also higher. It comes in a lipstick kind of tube with small mirror attached to one side of the cover which is quite convenient. Biotique kaajal is in black round tube with transparent cover. I was using Shahnaz kohl most of the time and at some point did get an irritation and had to discontinue. It’s not obvious how it should be cleaned from bacteria and that can be called a drawback I suppose.

Don’t buy this crap. I had the worst allergic reaction to this stuff. My eyes were nearly swollen shut. I’m asian and never had wrinkles under my eyes until now. It’s been 3 days since first irritation and the wrinkles are still there!!! I would have never bought this if I knew there was the slightest chance I’d have this kind of reaction. Lord, I hope these wrinkles go away. If not — I’d love to sue this company.

I don’t think so, it’s mainly a makeup after all.

Hi Utty,
It’s actually called a herbal product and not a cosmetic one, so yes I think it’s okay to sleep in. I’ve been using Shahnaz Hussain kohl for 5 years. Everytime I wear it (almost every day) I never wash it off, I sleep in it. My lashes look fine, i think they’ve become slightly thicker and they’re definitely not worse off 🙂
